Appointment of Committee Members for 2025 – 2026
On 5 January 2025, the 66th Executive Committee and 49th Mutual Benefit Association were solemnly inaugurated at the Association Hall.
Under the oath of office administered by the Lifetime Honorary Chairman and Advisor of the Association, Jin Xing, BBM(L), SBSTJ, the new leadership team was formally sworn in, marking the Association’s entry into a new stage of development.
At the beginning of the ceremony, all of them bowed three times to pay respect to our ancestor Zhengjian Gong. Subsequently, under the witness of the Oath Keeper, the new Committee signed the pledge of office in turn and formally accepted the Certificate of Appointment; at the same time, the procedures for the handover of the old and new presidents and finances were also carried out to ensure a smooth transition of the Association’s work.
The new President, Zhang Jiang (PPM), delivered a warm speech at the inauguration ceremony. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all members for their support and trust, and promised to uphold the mission of the Association and lead the new team to push forward the various affairs of the Association and inject new vigour into the development of the Association. He called on the new members to understand and support each other, to embrace diversity while emphasising on consistency, to work hand in hand, and to take practical actions to promote the development of the Guild to a new level.
Secretary John expressed his deep gratitude to the previous members for leaving behind valuable experience of the Association’s affairs for the new team.
In his speech, the Lifetime Honorary Chairman, Jin Xing, highly recognised the hard work of the previous leadership team and had high hopes for the new committee. He said that under the leadership of the new team, the Association will continue to carry forward its fine traditions and create a brighter future.
The Inauguration Ceremony was successfully concluded with a round of applause from all participants. All members look forward to the new Association under the leadership of the new committee to bring about more business, more cohesion between members and work together to create a new chapter for the cause of the Association.
